Hi, what do you think of single-lever bathtub/shower faucets (like the Delta 1400 series)? The ones where a single lever controls both the volume of the flow and the temperature (ie, rotate counterclockwise to turn on as well as move from cold to hot water). What if I want low-flow hot water? Can’t do it with one of these. Same with maximum flow cold water.

Delta shower single handle is designed to mixed the H/C so that u won’t get scalded when others using cold or hot water.
There is no volume control on the unit. To be able to do what you want..you have to add a shut off valve to the shower headneck and put the shower head back on.

delta is a great brand – these are now pressure balancing valves designed to avoid scalding…… unfortunately, flow is preset unless you actually shut down the stops incorporated on the hot/cold faucet body itself – this can be adjusted by a flat screw built into the faucet -
