The bathtub has the 3 faucets 1 for hot 1 for cold and the middle one to switch the water to go from shower head to tub . After I turn the water off it continues dripping from the the tub faucet and from the middle one where I can switch the water to come out of the shower head or tub. Also when using the shower I have a lot of water coming out from the middle faucet I have tried tightening and they are tight and still drip. What else can I do ?

You need new Seats, washers, and stem-packing…all this is easy to replace if you know how. If you don’t, call a plumber and have it done. You would be amazed at how expensive dripping water can get!

Sounds like your taps need new washers that should stop drips and leaks from them?
    I am Not a plumber.

It sounds like your divertervalve needs repair/replacement. That is the valve that diverts the water from the faucet to the shower head. There are rubber/nylon washers in it that can become compressed or deteriorated over time.
