Okay in my bathroom, my bathtub, the hot water faucet side, I am having trouble with it. Both the hot and the cold have to be super tight to prevent any leakage from the nozzle (correct wording?) We usually get a slow drip, of cold water, which is fine, but lately it has been a steady drizzle of hot water (hot water heater bill sky rockets). sooo
Had my cousin come out and he did some stuff to it, and that was like 5 months ago, now today when I was tightening it, something broke, and the plastic knob came off and the metal round thing (with notches in it) I can turn that with a set of pliers, but only so far and it is still a drip of hot water. Due to my bill I am trying to get this fixed, but cheap.
Any advice?

I have bathtub faucet that I want to match, but cannot find it anywhere. A plumber installed it and I can’t find him either. The faucet has the letters "WB" on the front encircled with an oblong etch mark. A webserch for WB faucets brings up a brand of WB faucets with a different logo and they don’t show the faucet.

just did a reconstruction in bathroom, use a Delta T13 series bath tub faucet trim. It’s like this:

I am new at this, so I want to know that besides turning the handle to change the water temperature, is there any way to change the water pressure also? Now, seems I cannot change the water pressure, so we wasted water, especially hot water. You know, even you just a bit of hot water, the cold water will have to go maximum.

We recently discovered the pipe connected to our shower was leaking. Turned out, the pipes were completely corroded so they were replaced with copper pipes, a direct shower line was installed and new bathtub faucets were put on by the plumber for 5.00. The job took 3 hours.
I think this was an amazing price and we are very happy but I am just wondering what everyone else thinks. Let me know.

Okay, this morning my husband had the bright idea to replace our faucet handle because it was leaking water. He did so without first cutting off the water supply to the bathtub. It is important that I mention that he has absolutely NO DIY skills and never referred to any manual. Water was spewing like a geyser everywhere after he took the handle off. Eventually we found the water supply and cut the water off and replaced the bathtub handle. But now when we cut the water supply back on, the water won’t turn off in the bathtub. Can anyone give me tips on what they think I should do?
The valve fits but every time I turn on the water supply I cannot turn off the faucets throughout the house. It has something to do with how I am turning the water supply back on.

I noticed last night at about 1am that a slight, but constant stream of water was coming out of the faucet in the tub. I was able to make it stop, but forget how I did since I was practically sleepwalking. There’s also a drip between the handle and the faucet. Please help! (I don’t have a lot of tools)

I have a 1940’s bungalow bathroom with a bathtub that doesn’t have a stopper and really just needs a whole new faucet- There is an access panel in the closet behind the tub- and the basement is not finished so there is access through there too (for the drain pipe) –
About how long would this take a plumber to do (replace the faucet) ?
